New local authority guidance on cross-pavement EV charging solutions
The UK government has released new guidance to support local authorities in England in developing policies for cross-pavement electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. These solutions, such as Gul-e by ODS, enable residents without off-street parking to safely and conveniently charge their EVs at home by allowing charging cables to pass across or through pavements.
High costs of public EV charging: A barrier to disabled drivers
Public EV charging remains a significant hurdle for widespread electric vehicle adoption, especially for disabled drivers. Despite falling wholesale energy prices, the cost of using public rapid and ultra-rapid chargers is still steep.
Suffolk households encouraged to join new Gul-e trial
Suffolk County Council is partnering with Gul-e to trial our innovative cross-pavement EV charging solution for households without driveways. Local households without driveways are encouraged to apply to join the trial and be among the first to benefit from Gul-e's safe, easy and convenient solution.
